Health Services and Nursing

The Fairfield ISD Health Services Department is dedicated to providing and promoting coordinated school health services that support every child. Find information about injuries and illness at school, requirements for giving medicine at school, health screenings, and access health resources.

Beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, all Texas schools must receive written parent or guardian consent for most counseling and health-related services, which are often routine in nature. Only limited services, such as in the event of medical emergencies or when abuse is suspected, can be provided without consent.
