Fairfield FFA Plant Sale Set for March 26 and 27

The Fairfield FFA Horticulture classes will host their annual plant sale on March 26 and 27 from 4:00 to 6:30 PM at the greenhouse behind Fairfield High School.
Students have been working throughout the year to grow a variety of plants that will be available for purchase. Community members can choose from a selection of vegetable starters including peas, carrots, broccoli, lettuce, zucchini, greens, squash, herbs, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, and watermelon. Floral hanging baskets will also be available.
The plant sale gives students hands on experience in greenhouse production and plant care while allowing them to showcase the work they have completed this year.
All proceeds from the sale will go back into the program to support next year’s greenhouse projects and provide additional learning opportunities for students.
The Fairfield FFA program invites the community to stop by the greenhouse behind Fairfield High School, support the students, and pick up plants for their spring gardens.
