Fairfield anglers Landon Morrison and Michael Zachry turned in an impressive performance at Cedar Creek Lake, finishing 2nd out of 175 boats with a 20.74 pound bag.

The pair battled through stormy conditions to earn the strong finish and continue what has been a standout season for the Fairfield fishing team.

With this finish, Landon and Michael have qualified for Regionals, which will be held May 2. They are also still in the running for Angler of the Year in the Central Division, currently sitting in the Top 3 in the region as final results are still pending.

Congratulations to Landon and Michael on another great tournament, and a big thank you to their captain, Scooter Long, for his continued support and leadership throughout the season.
