FFA Teams Advance to State at Area 8 CDE Contest

Fairfield FFA took a group of students to Stephenville for the Area 8 CDE contest this past Wednesday, and their hard work paid off in a big way.
With an early 3 am start, the group showed determination from the beginning and walked away with two teams advancing to the state contest.
The Farm Business Management team earned 3rd place and qualified for state. Team members include Conner Colvert, Mason Edwards, Francisco Espinoza, and Obie Crook. Edwards also placed 7th individually.
The Livestock Judging team placed 5th overall and also qualified for state. Team members include Arden Strait, Peyton Johnson, Kenna Coufal, and Blake Phillips. Coufal placed 8th individually.
