The Fairfield ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2026 to 2027 school calendar during its meeting this week, giving families an early look at important dates for the upcoming school year.

The first day of school for Fairfield ISD students will be August 12, 2026. The last day of school is scheduled for May 19, 2027.

Several holidays and breaks are included throughout the year to allow students and staff time to rest and recharge. Thanksgiving Break will take place November 23 through November 27. Christmas Break is scheduled for December 18 through January 5. Spring Break will be March 8 through March 12.
