More Than a Game: Lady Eagles Pink Out Makes an Impact

Tuesday night was about more than volleyball for the Fairfield Lady Eagles.
Before the varsity match, the Fairfield Volleyball Program presented $1,500 to Freestone Medical Center to help provide mammograms for women in need.
The Pink Out ceremony also honored those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. Twenty-four pink jerseys lined the gym, each carrying the name of a breast cancer victim, fighter, or survivor. The names were read during a special roll call in their honor.
The evening also included recognition of the Little Lady Diggers, who joined the Lady Eagles for the special night.
Through the support of players, coaches, families and the community, Pink Out Night became an opportunity to honor loved ones, support women in need and make a difference beyond the volleyball court.
More than a game. A night of remembrance, support and community.
